RP-1 and RF-1 versions 1.3 brings AB3 support and more

Kai Aras updates RP-1 and RF-1 with AB3 and more. Here’s what’s new:

  • Added MIDI support in standalone mode including support for External MIDI Hardware, Network MIDI, Inter-app MIDI and Bluetooth MIDI
  • Added Support for Audiobus3
  • Fixed a occasional crash when restoring state from a AU Host session.
  • Various minor tweaks and improvements

RP-1 – Dual Digital Delay FX arrives

A new FX app arrives that can be used in a number of different ways. RP-1 is an Audio Unit, IAA effect and works with Audiobus. If that wasn’t enough it has Link too! This is the first in a range of FX apps that Numerical Audio are creating, so I think that there’s good stuff to come.

Two separate (stereo) delay lines allow for a wide range of effects ranging from basic slapback and ping-ping type echos to complex modulations and soundscapes.

Overview

  • Digital Stereo Delay with High- and Lowpass filters, Stereo spread and Looping
  • Separate modulation Delay for Chorus, Vibrato, Flanger and Panning effects
  • Both sections can be bypassed individually
  • Mod section can be routed pre or post delay
  • Delay Times from 10ms to 2000ms (or 1/32 to 2bars)
  • Tempo Sync via AudioUnit Host or Ableton Link
  • Tap Temp and Manual Tempo
