Cubase for PSP? Could it be?

Is this for real? Thanks to KrisMcKenna for tweeting this. It appears on a blog post at MusicObject, which I’d never heard of but am following now.

If it is for real then the PSP is something I’m going to have to think about getting soon!

Beaterator track

Here’s a track made with Beaterator on the PSP. Sounds very good. Now I’m looking forward to seeing this on the iPhone / Touch.

Pocket Gamer on Beaterator for PSP

I don’t own a PSP so I can’t comment really on music making software for this platform. I know there have been a few notable homebrew synths and some games, but I’m not close enough to it really.

I heard about Beaterator a while back and read this hands on article from Pocket Gamer with interest. I don’t think that it’ll make me rush out and buy a PSP or the game, but it is good to hear that other platforms are still getting decent music making software too.

iLounge on Sony luring iPhone devs to PSPGp

Same story as yesterday, but a different manufacturer. This time Sony is poaching, or trying to poach iPhone devs to port their apps to it’s PSPGo platform.

It looks like PSPGo titles will be priced in a similar way to iPhone apps too. More at iLounge.
