In their latest blog post they described the GrooVerse and how it will be coming to us soon. It looks awesome, a really great idea, and I think it will start to take Android mobile music is a good direction and to a good place.

Frozen Lonesome – The Wonderful World of IOS Music Apps (video)

Frozen Lonesome workshop on The Wonderful World of IOS Music Apps at Matlock Festival of Music, Art, and Nature – August 23rd, 2014.

Things like this are really important. Getting the word out isn’t easy at all so it’s great to see Steve doing such a great job of it.

Has anyone tried Jammcard as yet?

Anyone given this app / network a go? Useful or not? I’d like to hear what people think.

Take a look at the iOS Musicians Forum

I’ve been posting about this for a while now, but it does deserve the occasional reminder. If you haven’t been there already then you might want to check out the iOS Musicians Forum. It’s relatively new and a new place to discuss iOS music making and also to promote your music as well.

If you didn’t know, here’s where the new Ohpeewon is …

I’ve been meaning to post this for a little while, so sorry for the delay. The new Ohpeewon (OP-1 unofficial site) is here. Go and make plenty of use of it!

SoundLab gets funded!

You might have seen from yesterday that I posted about getting involved in SoundLab again this year. Well I’m pleased to let you know that SoundLab has been funded by NESTA. You can see the press release on their news page here.

If you’re wondering what it is, SoundLab is about configuring Creativity and investigating how digital technologies can help people with learning difficulties to create sound and music experiences in the capital.

If you’d like to know more about it just get in touch.
