So, it looks like Sugar Bytes won’t be disappointing us. According to this video they will have updates for their existing iOS apps and also new apps for iPad and even something for the iPhone too. All good news.

If you want to watch the video go ahead, but be aware that the iOS news is about 10 minutes and 30 seconds in and there’s nothing shown about new products at all.

“Ploytec developer Markus Medau showed me his micro, MIDI bus powered synth, the PL2. Possibly the smallest synth in the world. It’s really really small, and it sounds really really cool”

Pretty cool, and they cost around £55 – £60 as far as I can tell.

“An alliance of music app developers called Musik App Manufaktur had a very nice performance with iOS apps here at Superbooth 16. They’re clearly showing that mobile app music is not just something fun to play around with while you’re waiting for the bus. No, these are highly capable of high performance stuff, also controlling modulars and syncing over Ableton link. Good stuff.”
