Here’s a good list of IAA apps

I’ve posted this list before, but as it is a great resource for Inter-App-Audio apps and it’s nicely categorised into hosts FX and instruments I thought it would be worth sharing again, big thanks to audre.io for this.

The Lego Of The Internet Generation – Sam Labs @ Hardware Startup Lab Showcase (video)

I was at this event last week and it was great to see Sam Labs in action. It really brought it to life for me.

Here we have Joachim Horn, founder and CEO of Sam Labs shows us how to use their little devices in few simple steps.

Back in 2009: Toro Mini was on the way

Toro Mini was a lovely little app with some great sound presets in it. I think in some ways it paved the way for a number of other synths, but it didn’t really get the attention it deserved, which was a real shame.

What’s your app of the week?

What’s the app that’s been most useful or the most inspiring this week? Or maybe just the app that’s been your work horse for the last few days. Tell me which one it is and why.

I know I’ve talked about smart watch based apps and music before, and I’m not alone, CDM did a good piece on it too when the Apple Watch was announced, but I think it’ll be interesting to see what developers make of the WatchKit next month. I’d like to know what the reactions will be. Music on your wrist?
