Having fun in Sound Lab

Over the last few weeks I’ve been working with a charity called Heart n Soul based in South London to develop some combinations of portable music making devices and apps for use in an event called The Beautiful Octopus club (here’s a great video of the 2012 event).

It’s been a really interesting project to be a part of. Not just because I love music making and mobile stuff, but because it’s made me think about how we use these apps in very different ways.

The two photos above are from the second session where we were looking at how different physical combinations would work out. We ended up with about three basic set ups that we took into the next workshop.

More about that in another post.

Which is great as he is one of my favourite developers right now. Really worth reading this interview.

Interesting post from MoMuPro, I certainly agree with the first two. Thesys I’m just getting started with.

New DS emulator for Android

A new emulator for Android for all your DS needs. The reviews on Google’s play store look pretty good so it might be worth a look, but it isn’t free.
