New iPad app coming from the maker of Audio Mastering Studio

You might remember I posted some pictures a little while ago of old style reel to reel and cassette multitrack hardware. Well this is the app that’s coming, and I’m really excited about it!

Details? Yep, here.

Pearl Guitar: beta test (video from Amidio)

Description:

“Our secret project, Pearl Guitar is an carefully tuned virtual representation of the legendary vintage 1979 Martin & Co dreadnaught, one of the best acoustic guitars in the world. Coming soon! The sound is still being tuned.”

C.24, the modular iPad Keyboard still on Kickstarter with over a week to go

Of course, all the $99 units have gone, but the $149 units are still really good value (in my view) so it’s well worth a look.

A little bit of destro …

Right here, from the developer. Just in case you were wondering what Anaphobia Destro actually sounded like.

iOS Music Community adds groups

There’s a few groups already over at the iOS Music Community site. Go take a look.

IK Multimedia’s iRIG Mix 30 % off until the 8th of August

According to Musical Android anyway, so if you were thinking of getting this bit of hardware from IKM, now might be the right time.

About the audiobus routes of the day

I got this comment about my Audiobus routes of the day and I thought I should answer some of the points:

  1. I don’t have a financial interest in Audiobus.
  2. Audiobus route of the day isn’t a gimmick, it’s just a bit of fun
  3. I will consider uploading something to SoundCloud from occasional routes, but only occasionally as a lot of times I just play and don’t record anything.

Hope that’s ok.
