It’s a bit late, but here’s the round up from the last week

For a variety of reasons I’ve not been able to post much over the last couple of days, and as today is a bank holiday (public holiday) in the UK it is sort of a Sunday as far as I’m concerned, so here’s the round up from the last 7 days or so, and normal service will be resumed tomorrow.

New apps:

Apps getting on the Audiobus:

Significant updates:

Other news:

  • Lazer Kat Records arrives, the first iOS focused label, which is an interesting development, although I’d have to say that it isn’t a huge surprise. I’ll be looking forward to hearing what they put out over the coming months.
  • If you’re interested in the wider Digital Music business then you might want to have a listen to / watch DMT (Digital Music Trends).
  • I’m always interested to understand the reasoning behind a product, so this Sonoma interview on the development of the GuitarJack was worthwhile
  • JamStik has arrived on crowdfunding platform Indiegogo. It’ll be interesting to see how they get on there
  • Matthias Krebs has a really good set of slides on Android music making.

Other app news:

Useful videos:

  • Tutorial on PixiLang and Sunvox
  • Only really useful if you’re an OP-1 user, but this drum tutorial is worth watching

I hope that was useful, see you tomorrow for lots more mobile news.

It’s Monday, is there anything that needs adding into the wait list? Let me know if there is, or just take a look and see what’s coming up.

Are you using Dropbox with your apps?

If you’re not using dropbox then it’s something you should to check out as loads of apps are now using it as a default for online storage and for a variety of other purposes too, and it works quite well in my view. If you’re not using it you can get your own dropbox by clicking this link, and what’s more you’ll get an extra 500mb just for using this link (and so will I)!
