touchAble have posted a bugfix release to their app, which is ok, but just in the tail end of the description of the update it says:
“expect something big in early 2013 :)”
But what? I guess we’ll just have to wait …
HexASound turns your iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch into a multi-tone generator instrument. The unusual keyboard layout, based on hexagons, has been especially crafted for multi-touch devices. It allows you to easily play any kind of tune in a bounded screen.
If you are new to music, learning would not usually have been that simple. The listing of usual scales and chords helps you see the patterns in the music thanks to the geometrical layout.
If you are a seasoned musician, HexASound can be used as an instrument in its own right or as a tool to help you transpose your favorite patterns.
Ok. This is my fault! I posted that picture and didn’t completely check where it had come from. So, if you got excited about Audiobus coming along today or at least getting to know when it will arrive, my apologies, and of course, my apologies to the Audiobus team as well.
As for when it is coming, have a read of their post today.
Here’s what’s new:
The iPhone version of Beaterator was awful but it appears that it’s moved to the web now. I’ve not tried it out as yet, but it looks interesting, so I might.
