Confused? No that’s the name of the track

I posted this track a while ago, but I thought it would be worth bringing it to your attention if you haven’t heard it. It was inspired by music from Daphne Oram, one of the founders of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop.

I made the track predominantly with apps from the Strange Agency, and it’s no secret that I love their work. This track used Curtis for iPad, Donut, and CP1919.

It also used MoDrum for the drum track. MoDrum is one of the most versatile drum machines available for iOS in my opinion. I especially love the control over the sounds and the compressor and distortion. It gives a huge range of possibilities and I find myself using it more and more and ending up going to it as almost a default for drums and percussion.

Also in this track I brought everything together using Multitrack DAW, which is and has been since the day in launched, incredible.

So in the end I only used 4 stereo tracks to put this together. It was very simple, but I think very effective indeed.

I realise that it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but it will appeal to some who’ll be interested to know how it go put together.
