Quick question, will the 4S break any hardware?

I seem to remember that when the 4 came out it broke a number of devices that worked fine with the iPhone 3G and 3GS, but didn’t with the 4 and then the iPad.

Does anyone know whether the iPhone 4S will break hardware that works ok on the current 4?
