I found this interesting post at the faber acoustical and via Volterock. It has a good comparison of the original, 3G and 3GS internal mics. The second piece covers the iPhone 4, and the iPad, but not the iPad 2 as yet, which would be useful. Nevertheless, very handy. Looks like I’ll be keeping my 3G for a while then.
