Futuresound is a bit like RJDJ, but didn’t seem to take off in the same way as RJDJ did. The app has now dropped in price to $0.99 and is worth checking out if you like that reactive kind of thing. In fact, I must try it out again myself soon.
Loopmash for iPhone has dropped in price from $3.99 to $1.99.
A new MIDI app for your iPad:
Use the MIDI Break Out Box to effectively extend the number of presets in your synth by combining multiple instruments. The MIDI Break Out Box takes input from a MIDI channel and copies it to one or more different channels, optionally adjusting the pitch. This is a way to combine instrument presets and mix them for live performances. For example, you can play a Piano on MIDI channel 1 but have the notes duplicated with Strings on MIDI channel 2 playing an octave lower.
*** PLEASE NOTE: This App REQUIRES a MIDI hardware interface connected to the iPad via the USB Camera Connection Kit ***
Interesting idea. The app is priced at $1.99
