If you’ve been reading this blog for a while then you’ll know that I like making noises and things that make noises too. From there it is a short step to an app like Sprak.

Every time I pick up this app up I find a new noise that I can get out of it, a new drone, or a new crackle, and I love that.  At some point I will do some recording with it too, but for now I am more than content to use Sprak to fill a few minutes here and there with glorious noise.

In my book you’d be hard pushed to find a better way to spend $0.99.

  1. Sprak is a fun app. Its surprisingly demanding on my Touch 2G. But I like this kind of circuit bending simulation.

  2. I wish there was a way to switch the lowpass filter (“mute”) on and off without holding it.

I desperately want to run these sounds through some effects. If I had two ipods, running this through filtatron would be fun.

audiocopy would be nice, maybe a built in delay?
