So I’ve upgraded to an iPhone 4, which leaves me with my 3G, and no real idea of what to do with it now.

I don’t really want to sell it as I’m sure I’ll regret it pretty quickly once it’s gone, so what should I do with it now?

Any suggestions?

  1. I have an extra iPhone 3G leftover from when I upgraded to the 3Gs. At first it was cool to just have all my music apps on it …. but then …. I got the iPad and now I never use my old iPhone 3G and only my 3Gs for apps that won't run on the iPad (which are rare). My iPhone is nothing more than a phone, camera, camcorder, recorder, GPS, email checker and web searcher when away from home.
I did jailbreak my old iPhone 3G which was entertaining for a little while but the bottom line is that I should sell it.

  2. Thanks for all the suggestions, I really appreciate it. I am going with the 'turn it into a music only device option', mainly because my 4 won't work with my Mikey or GuitarJack so I still need the device to use either of those, and also because it will be handy live as well.

Once again, thanks for all the comments.
