New NNN Mono Synth Performance Test Video

NNN MONO ver1.0.1 Performance test from Kazuyuki Okamoto on Vimeo.

I got an email from the developer of NNN and a link to this new video. So it looks like the synth will work on the 3G, which is good. I’m interested to know if anyone has any experience of using this app.

Sunvox is back in the building

Oh yes, the wonderful Sunvox is back on the iPhone. Version 1.4.5 has finally arrived and has new things too:

  • fixed bug with iPhone OS 3.1
  • new module: Vibrato
  • added sinusoidal waveform to the “generator”
  • added new effects 11 and 12 – fineslide up/down
  • added new effect 20 – set the probability (0…8000) of a note being
  • triggered; this effect is for unpredictable rhythms
  • added new effect 21 – same as 20 but with random velocity
  • added new example track: endless_song (based on new effect 20)
  • new functions in the “sampler”: resample; volume fade; waveform drawing (paint mode)
  • improved “transpose” function in the pattern editor
  • pattern follow mode (only for single pattern playing)
  • sound engine optimization
Looking forward to getting my head back into Sunvox now.

New Scenes from RJDJ

A dozen new scenes are now available on RJDJ, which is free again as Apple are now allowing in app purchase for free apps which is good. So if you haven’t got a copy of RJDJ now is a good time to get it.

Matrixsynth on new Akai controllers

Matrixsynth posts on the availability of Akai’s new controllers which are starting to ship in the US soon. The $ prices look quite good, so I wonder what the GBP prices will look like.
