MultiVid for iPhone

This app looks amazing, like you could do so much with it, I can’t wait to see it in the app store and try it out. Of course, I’ve got to figure out how to get my hands on a big bunch of iPod Touches now!

InstantDrummer price going up tomorrow

Just so you know Instant Drummer is going up in price from $0.99 to $2.99 as of tomorrow 31/8. No idea what time tomorrow as Apple are in charge of that bit, but if you want to get Instant Drummer cheaper then click the button below.

Spending time with DopplerPad

I’ve been using DopplerPad for a while and I love it, that’s true. But why? Well, one of the but upsides for DopplerPad is how immediate it is. You can be up and running in DopplerPad in just a few minutes, and I think that is probably an absolute essential for all mobile music apps. DopplerPad can be used by anyone irrespective of their level of ability simply because you can access it’s features to make music in the way you want and it doesn’t force your workflow.

I’ve been waiting patiently for the update to 1.05 for this app for a while now, and I hope that some of the features I’d like to see will be in that update, but I thought I’d list out my wish list anyway:

  • Save and load tracks / songs (a must)
  • Start A & B simultaneously
  • Effects
  • Remove last instrument layer

If I could get those it would be brilliant. Of course I’m really looking forward to the integration with FourTrack and maybe even ioLibrary too.

Even so DopplerPad is a great app and I hope that Retronyms and Sonoma Wireworks keep putting out great new features and apps.

iSequence giveaway!

Thanks to BeepStreet the developer behind iSequence I have 5 promo codes to give out for their iSequence app. I’ll give them to the first 5 people who email me with a burning desire to get iSequence on their iPhone or iPod Touch. Don’t forget that promo codes only work in the US.

Don’t forget to check out the new community site

Don’t forget to check out the community site at: Here’s. It has a forum and a wiki and lots more.

Obviously the only way it will work is if people sign up, add content, and make use of it. I’m hoping that you will.

New Palm Sounds community is here.
