Hexatone sneak preview

Here’s a quick peek at Hexatone from Amidio. It looks very good so far, but then, what else do you expect from Amidio?

The rest of Amidio’s apps on the app store:

Android gets MIDI

CDM talks about FingerPlay MIDI.

I’m pleased to see that Android is starting to get some music apps, I hope that there are many more to follow.

Sonifi

This is a new app that describes itself as a remix engine. It has four audio channels to play with and allows mixes to be saved. The big difference between this and other similar apps is that Sonifi allows users to connect together via bluetooth to ‘jam’ on the same mix.

I will be really interested to see how this shapes up over the next few weeks, and if it takes off. Ideally I’d like to see peer to peer in apps like looptastic and mixtikl (when it arrives).

Where is ZoozBeat Pro?

I got a comment posted on an old post about ZoozBeat asking when the ‘pro’ version was going to come out. It reminded me about this question.

I know that the latest OS has peer to peer in it and so will we finally see Zoozbeat arrive with collaboration features? I hope so. I just want to be sure I’ve got someone to collaborate with.

DGOS update

Another update from DGOS. Back to the variety that I don’t really understand.

Concretedog with MIDI motors

The Concretedog is doing some interesting things with his music. I do like the idea of something that triggers a physical event as well as a sound.

CDM on TouchOSC controller

I’m not big on controllers, but I do like the idea of being able to edit your own layouts. More at CDM.

Moonbuz on Jasuto creator interview

A big thank you to Moonbuz for alerting me to this interview in CM. I usually keep a look out for what’s in CM magazine, but haven’t for a few weeks so I’d have missed this if not for Moonbuz.
