I’ve just been trying to use the sync facility in rectools to see what you can do. From what I can see there is no way to upload wav files into rectools using the sync facility.

This is a big shame. I was hoping that you’d be able to pull in a stereo wave file into two of the tracks then use the other 6 for other instruments and vocals.

Perhaps this feature will come later?

  1. The only recording app for the iphone that allows importing wave ,aiff and mp3 files is RecordStudio. It has four tracks and allows using each track as a stereo or mono. One track can accommodate a stereo wave mp3 or aiff file, leaving 3 tracks free. Unfortunately there is no track panning.

  2. What about the 16 track version?

Without audio upload I can't see it working.

Also, what about the whole synth / effects thing they were talking about?
