Korg nano series deal at SME Audio

Thanks to SME Audio Solutions for letting me know about their special deal on the nano series in black. All three for £149.99. Not bad.

miniSynth Live at Apple Regent Street

Yonac (makers of miniSynth) have posted this:

The band Innerpartysystem will be performing a stripped down live set at the Regent Street Apple store in London on February 6th at 7:30PM. They will be using a few iPhone musical instruments in their performance, one of which is miniSynth! This looks really cool, and if you are nearby, you should check it out!

Worth looking in on if you’re in London tomorrow.

miniSynth available at the iTunes App Store

Daisyphone

Daisyphone’s write up makes me think of Bloom more than anything, but according to the developer you can choose the type of sound and you can also compose collaboratively over the net, which sounds really interesting.

The app costs £1.79 on the app store. I’ll give it go soon I think.

NS Basic v 7 for Palm

So, you might be wondering why this is news for mobile music? Well, it is interesting that tool vendors for Palm are still developing and enhancing applications like NS Basic for a platform (Garnet and earlier Palm OS versions) that Palm are no longer interested in.

Of course NS Basic isn’t the only development tool. There are plenty of others like PocketC, iziBasic, the list could go on and on.

Will these tools keep going now that Palm has walked away?
