Handheld Synth-strument Trio

Thanks to Colin for linking this into the Palm Sounds Group. They’re from MAKE. These look very cool indeed. It’d be nice to see a video and get to hear them. Here’s a quote from MAKE:

Farnea’s “last drones” are quite nicely built mini-synths, representing 3 very popular DIY electronic instruments –

the last drones built for my friends, playing with me in Elisha Gray band.
on the left FESTER, the optical theremin.

on the top Ag0 LOLLOSO, the weird sound generator.

on the right WHAT A MESS(INA), the atari punk console. – last drones

What’s next for finger Bassline

Some interesting new features coming for finger bassline …

  • Sync multiple devices over WiFi
  • Export WAV- or AIFF-Files
  • Autorepeat step and length buttons
I think it is interesting that apps are going down the wifi route for sync. ZoozMobile have also said that their Pro level app will have wifi sync support. It would be nice to have some form of common clock sync between apps to make things more straightforward. Still, one step at a time I guess.

RJDJ Berlin Sprint finishing tomorrow

RJDJ’s Berlin spring comes to an end tomorrow. I’m looking forward to seeing some new scenes although I know there was talk of having some way of updating scenes directly within the app.

Gearwire on Indamixx

I thought that the gearwire features on Indamixx have been quite useful. Just a bit annoying that you can’t get the video on youTube.

Give KasioKristmas …

Thanks to the commenter who pointed me at this band. In the picture (above) on their site you can see a VL-1 and an SK-1. The music is available on iTunes, and I’m quite tempted actually!
